If the fairy lights are waterproof rated and made for outdoor use, you can use them outdoors. Not all fairy lights are made for outdoor use.

How Far Can You Run LED Fairy Lights?

If you want to use them like string lights, joined end to end, the max distance in one run is 80m. You'll need to power them from several positions once you go past 80m in a straight run.

If you have 200m of led fairy lights in a tree, the longest run is 60m, and the other runs are 10, 20, 40, etc. These could be powered by one transformer.

Do You Sell Solar Powered Fairy Lights?

We don't sell solar lights because they do not last nearly as long as the 24V low-voltage fairy lights. Solar lights that end up at the dump aren't helping the environment. The solar panel is usually the first thing to stop working. And direct sunlight on some of the cheaper solar lights on the market damage the cable.

What Is The Maximum Distance You Can String Lights?

Joined end to end, you could run 80m-100m of our fairy lights. Once you get over that distance, you must power it from both ends or part way.

Can You Use Your Fairy Lights As Curtain Lights?

Yes, our fairy lights can be used as curtain lights. You need fairy lights joined into a belt cable to make a fairy light curtain.

How to Turn On Outdoor Fairy Lights

Our fairy lights turn on at the power point where the plug from the transformer has been plugged into the powerpoint. We also have the option of remote control. From the remote control, you can turn the lights on and off and dim the lights.

You can hang outdoor fairy lights just about anywhere you want. Many customers wrap them around trees or poles. Customers hang them from their houses or Pergolas.
